Questions for Writer Bryan Q. Miller
« Thread Started on Jun 24, 2010, 8:17pm »

Ita vero! (Yes, indeed!) Mr. Bryan Q. Miller has agreed to come on BtO! He has also kindly agreed to answer questions from you, the listeners. Post your questions below but follow the following guidelines:

1. NO questions about Smallville. Mr. Miller has already told me that he cannot discuss anything Smallville related. This is a Batgirl podcast anyway! ;)

2. NO rambling questions. As this is the first guest I'd like it to be as problem-free as possible and to not take up a lot of Mr. Miller's time. Please make the questions short, sweet, and to the point!

3. LIMIT OF 3 QUESTIONS! I love answering your questions but I don't want to scare away our guest or make this a taxing event. I also don't want to have to delete questions. Make the list no longer than 3 questions! (In the event of an overload of questions, I do reserve the right to edit the number allowed per person.)

Thanks in advance, friends! I'm quite excited! Let's make Mr. Miller feel welcome!

Firstly, congratulations Stella on landing the interview with Bryan Q. Miller, how awesome!

Question:

1. With Babs attention on the Birds, and with role of Wendy Harris seemingly more prominent, do you see Wendy supplanting Babs absence as Stephanie's coordinator/partner? If so, how do you plan on bringing readers along and getting their buy-in on this?

Thank you, and thank Mr. Miller for me also, for taking time out to participate on the podcast.

Nice job on getting the interview and I'm pretty jazzed that my first post is to write these questions so on to them:

1. I remember an incident between Stephanie as Robin and Conner Kent which was pretty cool. Will we ever see Stephanie as Batgirl interact with Conner Kent or the other Titans?

2. We have already seen a crossover with Batgirl and Robin and I am curious to know if there are any plans to crossover Batgirl and Birds of Prey as I would very much like to see Stephanie interact with Oracle's team.

3. How would you describe the character of Stephanie Brown to someone who isn't familiar with the character?

1. Are the voices for Stephanie and Barbara based on people you know? The dialogue throughout the book is one of the best in comics!

1.) Are there any plans for villans such as the penguin or two-face (or any other major batman villans) as villans for Stephanie?

Firstly, congratulations Stella - quite a coup!

1) what particular reading or research did you/do you undertake as preparation for writing Batgirl?
2) how far in advance do you typically have the Batgirl story-line planned out?

I'd also like to pass on my thanks to Mr Miller for his part in what has quickly become my favourite monthly comic book read.

1). Is their any plans to give Steph her own Archenemy. In the same way Batman has joker and Barbara Has Calculator?

2). Batgirl is the most witty and entertaining book in the bat universe right now. can you explain how you come yup with some of these funny one liners and dialog? Such as the Waffles and the current hate/hate Robin/Batgirl relationship.

3). What was the collaboration like between you and the artist when designing the new batgirl costume and batgirl pod?
