I'm not to sure what to think. I mean Wonder Woman is considered one of the "big three" and she doesn't really have the quality to back that. If think guy say's he change that then I'm all for it.
I have all ways liked the character but feel her biggest issue lies in her poor rouges gallery. There have been comments made to suggest that this version will improve this, so I'm happy. Dropping the Greek thing all together . . . is risky. I think that the thought is here I'm but wondering if this is to much at once? I mean I think I'll like it. My kind of Superhero is grounded in reality with a minimum about of disbelieve. (Batman, Alias, Green Arrow, ect. I also know it depends on the story. Batman has been involved in some very messed up stuff. Like right now. )

I think my big issue is there are changes for no real reason. I think JMS is put on this book for Wonder Woman to appeal to more people and for the book to sell but they're also in danger of scaring off the loyal readers of Gail Simone's run. I just feel that there may be too many retcons too quickly.

Yikes is all I have to say...if Wonder Woman were to...err, have relations with Luke Cage, then perhaps this costume would work. I'm not sure where JMS is going with this! It seems a shame to get rid of such a rich history, especially since she is the first female superhero!

For the story, the costume makes sense--I'd lose the jacket and the choker, and possibly give her dark blue pants instead of black. Otherwise, I can dig it.
As for the story...the whole crux of the story seems to be Diana finding out what happened with the timeline and then finding a way to fix things, which I'll bet she will mostly succeed in--though I'm sure some of the elements of this alternate timeline will cross-over.
Overall, I'm really curious to see where JMS is taking this. Should be interesting, if nothing else, and this is probably the first time since at least the Perez reboot where Wonder Woman's been such a big conversation piece in the comic fandom.
