batgirltooracle.blogspot.com/2010/10/episode-13.html"Batman/Superman: Apocalypse" and "Batgirl: Year One the Motion Comic" are two topics which I discuss at the beginning of this hour. Kimberley Rockmore joins me from the Watchtower Newsdesk, and shares some small screen news. Plus, I review Detective Comics #406 and #407, Batgirl #14, and Birds of Prey #5. I finish off the episode with my literature recommendation, and Thomas Matis pops on at the end for a few words on Batgirl #14.

There is in Detective Comics #406 a small but lovely image of Barbara sitting at her makeup table pulling on her second Batgirl glove. No mask or cape. Very flattering pose.

I hope your feelings about the relationship between Babs and Dinah have nothing to do with this... In all seriousness, it makes sense that Babs would most likely quit if it was Dinah who would die. Let us not forget that not only is she a good friend and teammate, but that she was Babs' rolemodel in Batgirl:Year One. While Batman was her idol, Dinah provided a good example for Babs that girls can kick butt too, and led her on the way to adopt the Batgirl persona.

canepar: I know the panel of which you speak. It is subtle but well done. You could almost miss the beauty of it. tnr105: O dear! Yes, I have come across that image many a time, and debates surrounding it, as well! I truly see these two as sisters. The closest friend that they each have.
